Financial Freedom - Learn How to Always Be Ahead of the Game

November 1st, 2007 |

Do you often dream of what life could be like if you were financially free? Do you want to some day own a luxury vehicle? A new home? A boat? Land? Would you like to quit your day job and earn more in one week than you ever could in one month of work?

If you answered yes to one or more of these question the following article is for you.

Have you ever wondered how some people are able to rise from almost nothing to becoming financially free in short periods of time? There are over five million millionaires in America, most of them are self made, and that number is growing 15% to 20 % each year. How would you like to be one of them? How would you like to finally live the lifestyle you and your family deserve?

But how can we?

The internet has created more millionaires and billionaires than any business vehicle in history. Michael Dell, Bill Gates, Larry Ellison and Steve Jobs have either made or multiplied a fortune on the internet. According to the October 2007 issue of Forbes 400 Richest people in the world, over 1 million people consider eBay to be either their primary or secondary source of income. I am not claiming to be able to make you a millionaire, but I can help you use the internet to lead you in the direction of financial freedom.

The following are my top tips and recommendation for anyone seeking to put an end to the rat race and achieve financial freedom.

1. Start your own internet business and market or sell a product. Services are good too, but they are time consuming. Is the internet the only way to go? No, but I believe Bill Gates was on to something a few years ago when he said ” In the coming years there will be two kinds of business; those on the internet and those not in business”

2. Learn your business. Train in your field. Educate yourself. Strive to become an expert and a resource. Spend time learning what it is you are marketing, and do it well because as a new entrepreneur, not committing or being unprepared can cost you big bucks. You are now your own boss, set high expectations and keep them there. Don’t be afraid to seek the help of a mentor.

3. Treat your internet business as a real business. Many failed online entrepreneurs are so because of lack of discipline. They treat their business as a hobby then wonder about their lack of results. Keep logs that keep you honest about the time you spend working on your new business, you should aim for a bare minimum of 10-15 hours a week .

4. Do not quit your day job until you can earn your monthly salary in one week. Use your job to fuel your business. Chances are you’re going to need to advertise for your new project or you may have to pay a monthly service fee. Whatever the case is, use your job as the vehicle to help you propel your business to the next level.

5. Maintain a positive attitude. You may be able to start your business and have immediate success, or you may not see a single penny for weeks. Don’t get down on yourself, remember Rome was not built in one day. If you continue to learn your business and follow the steps given to you in your training or by your mentor it is only a matter of time before you get what you deserve.Success.
